Problem Note 46821: The date specified in the GUI does not match the date used in the analysis
In SAS® Risk Management for Banking and SAS® Risk Management for Insurance, the date that is used by the solution might be one day earlier than the date that you select in a user interface (UI) date prompt. The reason is that date prompts pass incorrect values to the mid-tier. When this occurs, there is no indication within the UI that the incorrect date has been used. However, there might be information printed to the log.
For example, reports in SAS Risk Management for Banking are generated using a base date that is one day prior to the date that you select in the Reporting Wizard.
In fact, the report log indicates the actual date that was used to generate the the reports
%rsk_rpt_reports_run(rpt_cd=BASE_FTP,no_hist_periods=1,base_dt=13Jun2012,rpt_mart=RD_RPT,
rpt_type=pdf,solution_cd=rmb,configuration_type_txt=FUND_TRANSFER_PRICE,project_sk= );
Custom date prompts are also affected.
You can either work around the problem or download a hot fix.
The workaround is to select a date in the UI that is one day after the date that you want used by the solution.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
